NVCLL Family,
***UPDATE*** NVCLL is officially confirmed for a Juniors team, though there are a few (2-3) open roster spots still. Our Juniors team will play against Pearl River, West Nyack and Stony Point (possibly also New City and Suffern). It is expected to be about at 15 game season, plus tournament play. Practice should be starting in about a week, so SIGN UP NOW!!!
We are still trying to recruit for a Seniors team. Our LL District (18) is currently planning on hosting Seniors (which runs a shorter season, only about 12 games). If interested PLEASE sign up now and let your kids keep playing baseball!
To reiterate:
There is a common misconception that NVCLL and Little League end after your kid's 12 year old season in Majors. In fact, we keep going with the JUNIORS and SENIORS programs These programs allow for kids 13 through 16 to keep playing basebal.
The NVCLL Juniors and Seniors teams play against other leagues from Rockland County. The games are set up so as to AVOID conflict with school teams as much as possible. So even if your child aged out of Majors you can register them for Juniors or Seniors at NVCLL.org and keep the baseball going.
BUT we need you to sign up right away, since we are trying to form teams ASAP!!!
Plus, they get really nice uniforms ...
